Speaker Information

Dr. Paul Wilkinson
Invited Speaker

British Geological Survey, United Kingdom

Paul Wilkinson received a BSc in Physics in 1993 and a PhD in Theoretical Physics in 1997. After a period working as a physicist in industry and two post-doctoral research posts, he joined the British Geological Survey as a theoretical geophysicist in 2004. His research interests are development and optimisation of near-surface geophysical sensing and monitoring technologies, with an emphasis on image resolution in inverse problems. His main areas of focus are geoelectrical methods and, more recently, quantum technology for gravity sensing. He has published over 160 papers, articles, and book chapters.
