Scope

Topics include :
- SDG13 Challenges in Asian Countries and the world
-> Climate change (CO2 monitoring, climate model, stored carbon areas, peat areas, hot springs, earthquake and volcanic activities, wildfire, household and industries, landfill, hotspots and landuse, biomass burning) – why are they challenges? Numbers?
-> Underground structure and underground natural resources (water, oil, offshore foundations, flooding, drought, loss of fresh water from pipes)
-> Energy (reduced energy and electricity use, grid and asset optimization, advanced energy storage and energy harvesting systems, alternative and renewable energy sources, green energy sources)
-> which state of the art sensor that have been used? What is lacking? Data enough?

- Current updates on Classical Sensors and Quantum Sensors
-> Sensors for CO2 and climate monitoring
-> Sensors for underground structure and natural resources
-> Sensors for disaster prediction/prevention
-> Gravimeter and gradiometer (gravity gradient sensor)
-> Magnetic field sensor

Presentation
- Unless specifically indicated, each technical presentation will be 15 min total (~12 min talk + 3 min Q&A).

* Note: Please standby at the presentation room (onsite and online) at least 20 min before your presentation time. Thank you.
