" Workshop Series SDG13: Climate action – CO2 monitoring and energy "

Organized by Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, Thailand
and the UK Quantum Technology Hub: Sensors and Timing and University of Birmingham, UK

Set up in 2022 by researchers at the UK Quantum Technology Hub Sensors and Timing, INSTA-QT has partnered with scientists in 12 countries to establish Global Virtual Workshops to tackle specific global challenges which are: no poverty, zero hunger; good health and wellbeing; climate action; clean water and sanitation and sustainable cities and communities.

It is our pleasure to welcome all respected researchers from academia, industries and organization, students and participants to the Workshop Series SDG13: Climate action – CO2 monitoring and energy, which will be held on-site/on-line (via Zoom applications). The workshop is supported by The International Network for Sensor and Timing Applications in Quantum Technologies (INSTA-QT). We expect this workshop to provide an excellent opportunity to mutually learn how quantum sensing and metrology would have potential effects on tackling the current real-world challenges on climate and energy. With the advancement of quantum sensing technologies and strong collaboration both in terms of research and academics between institutions involved, we hope this workshop would be a good starting point for making the world more sustainable and livable.
